When it comes to writing appropriate outlines for programs and courses, the best practices in pedagogy will always apply. From writing applicable learning objectives, to being succinct and accurate, the goal is to follow solid educational principles and foundations.
It may then appear odd to suggest a new way of writing. It is not. What is right remains right; where changes and improvements are necessary, it is also right to change and improve.
It is no longer acceptable to write for one and all. And it is possible to write in an inclusive manner, taking into consideration, and respecting, the need to welcome, include, and value all students.
